We've had great response from all over the country every time this show is aired. Plus a lot of web sales of soda, glasses and jam have been generated. Many thanks to The Cooking Channel and the FoodCrafters team for showcasing HOTLIPS Soda.

The cherry soda is also receiving good response, though it is apparent that what many folks think of as true cherry flavor is really fake cherry flavor, like gum, cheap ice cream and lousy cherry soda. So, we are intensifying the flavor a bit and increasing the carbonation slightly in the next batch. However, we are staying true to the taste of real dark sweet cherries, the fruit that is finding its way into HOTLIPS Cherry Soda. Tell us what you think, please. Try it with wheat beer - hefeweisen - it's superlative.

I've been lucky enough to sample all of the HotLips soda at the Beaverton Farmers Market, and I have to say that the Black Raspberry is the undisputed king of all fruit sodas. I go back every Saturday to buy another six-pack. It is simply to die for!!

First thing I thought when I tried this soda? Lemon Drop. Chili sugar rim. Vodka. Yum! Super crisp & refreshing on a hot summer day. (As soon as we have one...)

I don't know where I got a bottle of your raspberry soda; probably from my son who knows my penchant for "seasonal & local". It was in the fridge for awhile because I drink two sodas a year. I expected natural, but not delightfully fruity and not too sweet. I think I'll drink the whole bottle. Thanks for a great local, natural soft drink. I'll write about it in my blog. http://portlandhomecooking.com/seasonalhomegourmet/

OMG! The best raspberry soda in the world! If I could afford it I would have a fridge especially for this soda and it would be full at all times. Thanks for a great product! (I'd like to see the price a little lower but what the heck!)

My grandparents lived in Woodburn. In the summer of '72, we went to visit them and my grandma had made some black raspberry jam. The other day I had my first Hot Lips soda, a black raspberry. It tasted like grandma's jam! Mmmmmmmmmmm.

I am not given to hyperbole. I mean it when I say that the pear soda is the best I have ever had - displacing a tie between Apple Slice (from the early 90's,) and DobleLimon (from Chile). I hope you guys stay in business, because this stuff is seriously good.

I don't drink soda - normally, but after I was introduced to Hot Lips on a trip to Portland I was hooked. Not only did I pack it in my luggage to bring back as gifts, it was the best birthday surprise when a variety pack showed up at my Phoenix home! Can't wait til we have Hot Lips out here in the desert!
Thank you for your delicious sodas!

I've tried all the Hot Lips sodas--every one of them--and this is indisputably my favorite. The sweet-tart flavour, the heady perfume, and the luscious, invigorating mouthfeel are the reasons why I love this soda and pine for Portland. BC needs a Hot Lips Pizza!

Hi guys! Well, I have longed to see a pair of red lips on the black caps. How about the word "pulp" (only) on red lips?

I moved away from Portland to California about a year ago, and miss the sodas. I am coming home for a week and plan on brining a variety of sodas back to california with me. Nobody does it like hotlips and portalnd.

Moved to the Portland area about 9 months ago, and one of the best discoveries I've made so far is Hotlips Pear Soda. That stuff RULES North America. Tastes just like you're drinking a fresh pear. Portland rocks for many reasons, but high on the list are your sodas. Keep it up!!

I think that the tag line on the bottle cap should read:

    Real Fruit!
    Real Pulp!
    Shake Gently!

The pulp comes from the real fruit so it should be the first listed to make sense. I think keeping it simple is the best.

I buy your soda. I logged onto the website before making another order and saw your cap ideas. Just last night as my 16-year-old son and I were opening two bottles of blackberry, I commented that I really like the distinctive, classy black bottle tops. He agreed.

I understand your need to communicate about the pulp. In our opinion, by far the best looking, clearest at a glance, still classy, choice is the one with black around the edge that simply says:
    real pulp
    real fruit
    shake gently

We don't like the directional, upside down, trying to be too cutesy ones. Keep it simple, clean, and straightforward, just like your product.

Thanks for the GREAT soda, by the way!
