Raspberry

IMG_0014-color.jpgThis is farmer, Antony Boutard of Ayers Creek Farm in Gaston, OR, pointing out pollination in action on his raspberry plants.

Raspberry Soda has a bright, clear flavor, shouting in all glory of peak Oregon summer. A favorite with kids, it is rich and light at the same time—the radiance of the color matched by the explosion of flavor.

The raspberries for our soda are grown in Western Oregon, picked at peak freshness, and minimally handled before getting into the bottles.

Mixes beautifully with ice cream, chocolate, other juices, tea and vodka. Very nice served with lemon or sweet lime garnish.

Ingredients: Carbonated water, Willamette Valley raspberries, cane sugar, organic lemon juice. Nutrition Facts: Each bottle contains: 0 Fat; 60mg Sodium; 36g Carbohydrates; less than 1g Protein. And Percent Daily Values of: 10% Vitamin C; 2% Calcium; 2% Iron. Contains raspberry pulp.

I used to think apple was my favorite. I think because it was a more familiar soda taste that I could wrap my brain around. But it quickly swung over to the raspberry. The thick fruity flavor of the raspberry is unbeatable.

I can’t help it, I love the raspberry. It is like a mouthful of fresh raspberries. I am not even a pop drinker. I had it with my girlfriends this summer with vodka. It was a wild hit with every one of the Queens!

I've tried all the Hot Lips sodas--every one of them--and this is indisputably my favorite. The sweet-tart flavour, the heady perfume, and the luscious, invigorating mouthfeel are the reasons why I love this soda and pine for Portland. BC needs a Hot Lips Pizza!

OMG! The best raspberry soda in the world! If I could afford it I would have a fridge especially for this soda and it would be full at all times. Thanks for a great product! (I'd like to see the price a little lower but what the heck!)

I don't know where I got a bottle of your raspberry soda; probably from my son who knows my penchant for "seasonal & local". It was in the fridge for awhile because I drink two sodas a year. I expected natural, but not delightfully fruity and not too sweet. I think I'll drink the whole bottle. Thanks for a great local, natural soft drink. I'll write about it in my blog. http://portlandhomecooking.com/seasonalhomegourmet/
